We at the placement cell of K C College offer internship (limited time/vacation period)  to permanent placement on a small scale to MNC. The process is through the tie-ups with several companies which regularly (yearly) conduct the campus placement drive or a pool selection process.

Placement Cell registration and Operation methodology

  • The registration for students is opened in the month of June every year.
  • The students are supposed to fill in the simple excel form or register on line
  • The student will be issued a permanent placement registration number
  • The student submits the CV to placement cell and can update it number of times and the placement cell will record it on regular basis in the data bank.
  • Through the correspondence or enquiry the employers are contacted to know the available vacancies with them.
  • Once the employer informs the requirements of a particular position with desired qualification and skills, all suitable candidates from the registered students data bank are forwarded the information
  • The students are given the choice whether to apply for that position or not.
  • Unless the student gives confirmation no information of the student is forwarded to the employers. This is done only and only to avoid misuse of the data (mobile number / emails etc).

Selection / screening process

  • The employer once get the list of interested candidates for the position are offered the infrastructural facilities like class room for written test, computer lab for online test, seminar room for pre placement talk and cabin for interview.
  • After the selection drive the employer informs the candidates as well as the placement cell regarding the selection.
  • The placement cell follows –up with both students and employers for the actual appointment of the candidates.

The institute has a well-organised Training & Placement Division which keeps constant touch with the corporate and industry including the aluminis who are well established in the corporate world . The college placement cell assists the aspiring students in placing them for internships which also helps students in getting the placemnts as per there performace in the respective corporate.

The college has set up an Industry - Institute linkage cell for students industry visit. Equipped with pre-placement preparation through numerous activities organised by the Rama Prabha College, the placement cell arranges interviews for final year students under different courses to secure responsible positions in various organizations as per their individual capabilities and grades scored by the student.

Placement training plays a major role in shaping up the career goals of students. It is the dream of every engineering student to get placed in a top organization visiting their campus for recruitment. Keeping this key aspect into consideration, it is realized that training is important for engineering students to enhance their employability skills and achieve good placement in various industries.

At present, the competition for employment is increasing every day and placement has become a challenging task. Training of students and equipping them with life skills has become an important responsibility of the institution. Along with technical expertise, development of a holistic personality is also necessary. To meet out these requirements, a fully fledged training cell is operating in our college to enhance the capabilities of engineering graduates on par with the industry standards.

Training and Placement Cell in the Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education plays a vital role and is becoming a key department of the institute. As there are large numbers of Engineering and Technology colleges coming up in India, the competition for employment is increasing every day and the job of placement is becoming a challenging one. A full pledged placement cell is functioning in the Academy with a full time placement officer. Our Training and Placement Office is performing the following activities:
