MITT has been conducting various Programs on Skills, Life Skills for all its students under the Entrepreneur and Technical Skills Development Program (ETSDP). The objective of this program is to make a student ‘Industry Ready’ and bridge the gap between classroom teaching and Industry needs. The Programs under ETSDP are conducted progressively every week and they are part of the accademic weekly schedule. The Program exposes the students to the various requirements of the ‘Interview Preparedness’. Companies like Vijaya Bank, Core Green Sugar Limited, HDFC, Aries Agro Limited, Mangalore Chemical, and Fertilizers Limited, etc come to our college for campus recruitment. The companies offered a minimum salary package of 3 lahks per annum and a maximum salary package of 6.5 lahks annually.

KUD Dharwad placement cell gives paramount importance to the training and campus placement of its students. The university has more than 30 companies that visit the campus of the university each year for the recruitment of the students enrolled in the various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university.

Karnatak University's placement cell acts as an intermediary between the students and the recruiters from various industries and provides ample opportunities to the students of Karnatak University for internships and placements. The chief goal of the placement cell of KU is to develop the personality of the students by imparting the need-based training for improving their knowledge about the corporate sector and enhance their skills.

The theory is that Karnataka University has a very efficient placement department that provides students the best opportunities in job opportunities and internships during the summer. Wipro - 140 (3.1 l/a), Tcs-57(3.2 l/a), Cape Gemini-12 (3.5 l/a), Zoho-4 (4.2l/a).

WCC Nagercoil Placements
The Women's Christian College has a Placement Cell that oversees the student placement operations for training and placement. The placements at WCC Nagercoil are very important to the students' lives. The training and placement unit regularly hosts programs to equip students with the skills they require and enhance their employability. The average package provided by WCC Nagercoil placements is Rs 2,52,000, with the highest package available at Rs 3,80,000. Students studying edibles are urged to finish the selection process in order to obtain desired roles in reputable organisations. Kishinchand Chellaram College, caters to all basic educational branches, with possibly all subjects in each branch. The span of education is from undergraduate to doctoral courses. Hence the placement cell of K C College deals with a variety of job profiles demanded by employers.

We at the placement cell of K C College offer internship (limited time/vacation period)  to permanent placement on a small scale to MNC. The process is through the tie-ups with several companies which regularly (yearly) conduct the campus placement drive or a pool selection process.

Placement Cell registration and Operation methodology

• The registration for students is opened in the month of June every year.
• The students are supposed to fill in the simple excel form or register on line
• The student will be issued a permanent placement registration number
• The student submits the CV to placement cell and can update it number of times and the placement cell will record it on regular basis in the data bank.
• Through the correspondence or enquiry the employers are contacted to know the available vacancies with them.
• Once the employer informs the requirements of a particular position with desired qualification and skills, all suitable candidates from the registered students data bank are forwarded the information
• The students are given the choice whether to apply for that position or not.
• Unless the student gives confirmation no information of the student is forwarded to the employers. This is done only and only to avoid misuse of the data (mobile number / emails etc).

Selection / screening process

• The employer once get the list of interested candidates for the position are offered the infrastructural facilities like class room for written test, computer lab for online test, seminar room for pre placement talk and cabin for interview.
• After the selection drive the employer informs the candidates as well as the placement cell regarding the selection.
• The placement cell follows –up with both students and employers for the actual appointment of the candidates.

Opportunities of improvement

The students can appear for as many selection processes as they want till they get into agreement and accept the appointment from a particular employer. Once they accept one position they can appear for next company with prior intimation to the already accepted employer.

A full pledged placement cell is functioning in our Academy/college with a full time placement officer appointed by the Board of Management.

Placements Overview
The objective of the placement department Is to provide the best placements to the students. The department also would like to guide students to choose the right career and to give knowledge, skill, aptitude, attitude, and meet the manpower requirements of the industry.

The Placement Department facilitates activities like:

To collaborate with the Finishing School in delivering industry preparedness training.

We take pride in our excellent placement track record since our establishment. Most of the top Corporates have found our students to be ‘industry-ready. Our students are competent leaders capable of making business decisions that can eventually translate into a quantum leap in an organization’s profit. We ensure that there is a perfect balance between practical and theoretical training during the course.

The highest package of our course is 41 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Many recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Adobe, Cognizant, etc., are visiting. Infrastructure: In the computer science department, there are many facilities available for students. Separate labs are designed for practicals

Placement

Career Development Center at Roever Engineering College, Perambalur facilitates the placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students. The Training & Placement Office provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and mock interviews.

Students are placed for In-Plant Training through Training & Placement Cell.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is 75%. The average salary offered is Rs 20,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs 45,000 per month. Few companies visit our college for recruitment. Around 10-20% of students got internships in this course.
