Alpha College of Engineering (ACE)

The Alpha College of Engineering campus is located at 34, Udayavar, Thirumazhisai, Koil St, Poonamallee, Chennai, Tamil Nadu amidst a lush, green and serene area of 60 acres of land.

The ACE is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.   Alpha College of Engineering is ISO 9001:2008 Certified for Academic Standards by the Internationally Acclaimed TUV Suddeutschland, Germany.  The college also received India’s top Higher Education Jury Award for one of the Best 50 Private Engineering Colleges Award – 2023.

The institute offers various UG and PG Degree programs in Full Time mode delivered by experienced faculty at an affordable fee. Students can choose from multiple courses like B.E. / B.Tech, M.E., and MBA in the stream of Engineering, Business & Management Studies.  Admission is done on the basis of national and state entrance examinations such as TNEA and TANCET.

The teaching ensures that the students get more exposure on the theory as well as practice through hands on training.  Academic delivery is done through a combination of tools such as – board and chalk, Power point, videos etc.

Alpha College of Engineering Facilities include Auditorium, Laboratory, Library, Computer labs, Hostel, Canteen, Sports Complex & Facilities, Gym, Chapel, Transport, Women's Common Room, Utility Centre, Medical facilities, Cafeteria, Wi-Fi Campus, and much more.  The college also attaches great importance to research based teaching.  The state-of-the-art infrastructure includes well equipped laboratories and advanced instrumentation research facilities.  The Centre for Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation houses CT scan/X-Ray machines, c-arm and other high-end biomedical instrumentation facilities rarely found in educational institutions.

To improve the job readiness of its engineering students, Alpha College of Engineering now offers Graduate Engineering Employability Program (GEEP) Endorsed by Swissmem, Switzerland integrated into its curriculum. This helps them become familiar with industry requirements and practices and gives them an edge in placement opportunities.  For students of Mechanical, ECE, CS and allied branches of engineering, a course on Industrial Automation and Welding and Fabrication certified by SwissMEM, Switzerland is being offered.
