AIT is one of the very few colleges where the concept of HRD has been implemented and proved successful. The HR Department is sincerely working to empower students with various qualities and skills to achieve professional and personal excellence. All the students are informed about the necessity of maintaining good academic scores and are motivated regularly to achieve the same. Personality Development/Assessment: Overall grooming and personality development are essential aspects of training that the P&T Department focuses on. In order to truly empower students, P&T works on grooming them completely so that the challenges can be dealt with effectively.

The department helps the students recognize their skills and shortcomings through a series of tests and workshops. Soft-skills training programs are conducted which help the students in identifying their strengths and weaknesses. Weak student training programs are held regularly to instill confidence among the students.

AIT has tie-ups with TCS for the campus connect program by which the students improve their interpersonal and technical skill sets and prepares them to emerge as leaders.

Overall personality development helps build confidence in students. It reinforces traditional values which are unalterable in any evolving or changing situation.   To support and give career guidance by organizing guest lectures by eminent personalities from corporate, academics and SKCET Alumni.

  To organize campus drives for final year students with Companies throughout India

Further industry visits are arranged in parallel for the betterment of students. Placement

The Career Guidance & Placement Unit (CGPU) committee comprises of the Principal, the TPC Officer, Faculty Members and Student representatives. Asst.Prof. Sajeesh PTK is the TPC Officer. The Aim of the Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) is the overall development of the individual student and providing a platform to launch their careers.

The Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) of the college actively organizes campus recruitments and training programmes for students. Our college has hosted some of the best and most trusted campus placement drive. The institution being the choice of meritorious students in the state, employers have found it a major talent pool for students across branches. The CGPU also focuses on developing industry-readiness in the students. Placement-oriented training programs on other technical and non-technical topics are organized on a regular basis. Continual motivation and support is provided for students interested in pursuing higher studies as well as for those aspiring to enter the Civil Services and other such careers. Interaction with industry experts and alumni are facilitated and encouraged through on-campus sessions, networking opportunities, social media, and mentoring. The CGPU also plays a key role in developing a favorable ecosystem for nurturing startups and similar student ventures.

The dept. organizes on-campus and off-campus recruitments and pre-placement training programs through Aptitude tests, Group Discussions, Interviews, and presentation skills. Mock interviews and GDs are conducted on a regular basis so as to equip final and pre-final year students to face the challenges of the recruitment scenario. This objective appraisal enables us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates and select strategies for improvement. Besides, we extend intensive supportive measures to the rejected candidates.

A separate Training and Placement cell exists to arrange training programmes and placement drive for students. Students are given special training on personal development and soft skills right from the first semester which helps them to face life with confidence and also to perform well during placement tests and interviews conducted by various companies.
