  Smt. S.   Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology  is located in a 20 acre campus at Sugunapuram along the Palakkad-Coimbatore Highway, near Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore in Indian state of Tamil Nadu.  The campus itself is about 8 km from the city of Coimbatore.

   Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology is  an Autonomous Technical Institution, affiliated to Anna University.  It is accredited with ‘A’ Grade (3.42 out of 4 scale) by NAAC and 7 programmes being accredited by NBA.  The Institute has secured 2nd rank in Swachhta National Ranking 2018 and is the nodal centre for conducting Smart India Hackathon. SKCET is one among the Top 150 Engineering Institutions in NIRF Ranking 2019.  The university and college rankings for Engineering – India NIRF (2020) was 83, NIRF (2021) was 78, NIRF (2022) was 73 and  NIRF (2023) was 77.  SKCET is Ranked 4th out of 5 Private/Self Financed/Technical Colleges/Universities in 2021 in Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA).

  The Infrastructure of SKCET within the approximately 5 lakh sq.ft. of instructional area include classrooms with multimedia equipment/overhead projectors, faculty and administrative blocks, and  laboratories, and a three-storey student residence. The campus premises also consist of exclusive building blocks for Engineering, MCA and MBA students and facilities like a modern Library, laboratories, Sports and 20 Computers labs with 1200 terminals.  There are separate blocks for respective departments of engineering. The mechanical department is largest and oldest department at SKCET with a wide range of faculty and students. The mechanical block is the largest among all. It has a research and development lab to design and build vehicles for students who are an active member of SAE (Society of automobile engineers-coimbatore chapter). 
  The college offers 8 Mbit/s (1:1) leased line Internet connectivity; all the systems in the campus are networked ans 2 Mbit/s dedicated VPN connectivity between the college and Anna University, Coimbatore.  The Venkatraman Learning Cente covering 55,000 sq.ft. of central library block with approximately 42,000 volumes of books and 1,000 periodicals provides Internet access to all the e-journals and e-books is enabled

  Placements offered are amazing and academics are also well. It provides a variety of facilities including labs, library, sports complex, hostels etc. The average CTC bagged by the students are around Rs. 5 LPA and the highest CTC offered. 8 L PA.

Registration
  Candidate have to register using their basic details like name, father’s name, mobile number and email address. Candidates must note that they provide correct mobile number and email id as all the communication regarding TNEA Counselling will be exchanged using mobile number and email address provided during registration.
Payment of Counselling Fees
  Students who have successfully registered are now required to pay the fees as per their respective category. Application fees for General/OBC is Rs.500 and Rs.250 for SC/ST category.

Filling Personal Details
  Candidates have to enter their details of nativity, nationality and category along with information like marks of qualifying exams and board.
Submission of Form
  Candidates must verify all their details furnished in application form as no corrections will be allowed in later stages. After verifying all the details, candidate can submit the completely filled application form.

Random Number Allotment
  Candidates will be allotted a 10 digit random number after their registration is completed. The purpose of the random number of TNEA is to help break the deadlock between candidates, if there is a tie even after exhausting all tie breaking rules.
Document Verification
  All those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form and has been allotted a random number are required to report at TNEA facilitation centres for document verification. Candidates must carry all the below mentioned documents in original for the purpose of verification.

Nativity certificate (In case applicable)

Photo identity proof like Aadhaar, Election ID card, Driving licence
Merit List
  The conducting authority of TNEA, DOTE will prepare a merit list on the basis of normalized marks by into taking account marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Marks scored by candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated out of 100 with break-up of 100 marks for Mathematics and 50 marks each for Physics and Chemistry. Physics and Chemistry subjects carry equal weightage. In case of tie-break the merit will be prepared on the basis of

Counselling
  Candidates whose name is listed in merit list will be able to participate in TNEA Counselling as per their order of merit. Counselling will be held at TNEA facilitation centres. Candidates are also required to submit an initial fees of Rs.5000 (Rs.1000 in case of SC/ST) towards college admission. Candidate have to log in to their TNEA account using their registration number and password and fill their choices. Students must fill choices in order of their preference and should enter as much choices as they can for higher chances of getting a seat in college. There will be multiple rounds of counselling and candidate have to enter fresh choices in each counselling round if
Seat Allotment Result
  DOTE will release the result of first round seat allotment after the choice filling round. The allotment of seat will be made solely on the basis of merit list prepared by DOTE, choices filled and category of candidate. Candidate have to login to their TNEA account to see the result of seat allotment. Candidates can either accept the seat or surrender the seat to participate in next round of counselling. The final seat allotment result will be announced after the completion of all rounds of counselling. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must report to the allotted institute for further admission process.

  Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a holistic lifestyle with activities like yoga, sports and extra-curricular activities. P.G students and final year U.G students are allotted single rooms. All hostels are equipped with solar water heater for hot water supply. Hall of Residence for Boys at an area of 1,20,000 Sq.ft. to accommodate 1600 students, Halls of Residence for Girls at an area of 50,000 Sq.ft. to accommodate 850 students

 Despite the college being located at the heart of the city, the Institution offers bus services from various prominent locations in the city to the college. The college has a fleet of 15 air-conditioned and non air-conditioned buses to cater to the transportation needs of students and staff. The college buses pick up the students from far-off places like Tirupur, Pollachi and Mettupalayam as well. The Institution ensures the students’ safety by employing well experienced drivers. All buses have speed control devices, first aid boxes and CCTV cameras.
