Erode Sengunthar Engineering College is an autonomous, private engineering college started by Erode Sengunthar Educational Trust in the year 1996 with a vision to provide world class technical education for the upliftment of urban and rural youth. The Management of Erode Sengunthar Educational Trust has been associated with various Educational Institutions like Matric & Higher Secondary Schools.  All these institutions owe their existence to its founder Udyog Rattan Theiva Thiru. The Engineering College has been functioning at Thudupathi, Erode Dt, Tamil Nadui, 5 km from Perundurai, 22 km from Erode, Tamil Nadu, India.   The Institution has an area of 55.54 acres of land richly endowed with eco – friendly and beautiful greenland.

Erode Sengunthar Engineering College has ISO 9001:2008 certification and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. All the undergraduate courses offered are permanently affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college is an Autonomous College, accredited with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)  with grade of 'A'.  Erode Sengunthar Engineering College is positioned in the 51-100 Band NIRF, Innovation Ranking 2023, released in June 2023 by Ministry of Education, Government of India. Admission Procedure

Candidates seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech programs must have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks (with relaxations for reserved categories). Admissions are conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process, which considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Applicants need to register online for TNEA, and based on the merit list, participate in counseling sessions for seat allocation.
