G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College accepts TS EAMCET for admission to BTech/ BE courses. TS EAMCET Results have been announced on June 14, 2023. Furthermore, TSCHE has announced the TS EAMCET counselling dates 2023. There will be 3 rounds of the TS EAMCET counselling process and phase 1 will start on June 26. Phase 1 online registration and payment of fee will be open till July 5.

G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA). The college offers various fields of Engineering at UG and PG levels. The college was ranked 190 in the Engineering College by NIRF in 2020. The admissions at the college are sought through counseling on the basis of rank secured in the EAMCET entrance exam at UG level while on the basis of rank secured in GATE, PGECET at PG level. G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College (GPREC), established in 1985 is located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA), Anantapur. The college is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

GPREC offers B.Tech at undergraduate level and M.Tech at postgraduate level in various departments. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the respective courses before seeking admission. Admission to the most of programs is done on the basis of the entrance test.

Under the UG domain it offers 6 academic departments and 7 academic departments under the PG domain.

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of qualifying examination AP EAMCET.
For the M.tech. discipline, a valid GATE/ AP-PGECET score is necessary and a minimum of 55% in the relevant Engineering/Technology at UG level.

The selection process consists of analysis of past academic performance, as well as the performance of the candidate in the institute’s entrance examination. Admission is offered purely on the basis of merit.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed or are yet to appear for class XII or its equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada followed by counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 70% of the seats are called Category – A seats or Convener seats. The remaining 30% seats are called as Category – B seats or Management Quota Seats.

Admissions for Category –

The seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions through web counseling on the basis of EAMCET rank.
Category-B seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.

Admission procedure for B.Tech (3 Year Programs for Diploma Holders)

Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 20% seats (supernumerary seats) are allotted to Diploma Holders for admission into 2nd Year B.Tech directly.

Admissions into 2nd Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma Holders are conducted by The Convener, ECET(FDH) Admissions through web counseling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET(FDH) and the rules of reservations.
There are no B – Category(Management Quota) Seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech.

The eligibility for an availing scholarship is given below: Complete tuition fee waiver for B.Tech: Candidate must have secured rank between 1 to 2000 in EAMCET. Government of Andhra Pradesh scholarships and tuition fee reimbursement for eligible students. Stipend, tuition fee reimbursement & scholarships at PG level (M.Tech). Candidates admitted on the basis of GATE rank are eligible for a stipend from AICTE.
