IFET College of Engineering is a leading higher education, private, co-educational institution established in Villupuram.  It was founded in1998 by some eminent Industrialists and somegood-hearted NRIs, under the aegis of the Indo French Educational Trust (IFET) which is committed to promote education and research in the field of Engineering and Technology and to collate and disseminate in these fields with effective ideas, methods and techniques. This IEFT College of Engineering is located in 30.29 acres of land in IFET Nagar, Gangarampalayam Post, Valavanur Villupuram, Tamil Nadu.

IFET is an ISO 9000:2008 certified institution and is permanently Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.  It was accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and has been awarded ’ B’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

IFET College of Engineering offers a range of 11 UG courses in Full Time mode.  These courses are aimed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in their field of interest.  Candidate can pursue in multiple range of courses like B.E. / B.Tech, MBA/PGDM, M.E./M.Tech with the stream of Engineering and Business & Management Studies. From introductory courses to more advanced topics, there are a variety of courses to choose from.   The accepted Exams for BE/BTech is TNEA and CBSE 12^th.  For MBA/PGDM it is TANCET and for ME/MTech  the Exams Accepted are GATE / CEETA.

• Candidates must appear for TNEA test and obtain a decent rank,

• IFET cutoffs will be published after the results of TNEA are declared,

• Candidates meeting the required cutoff percentile may proceed with the DoTE counselling round,

• Candidates must select IFET College of Engineering as their preferred college during the choice fillings,

• Candidates will be allotted seats based on the choice fillings and scores of the entrance exam,

• Candidates have to verify their documents at IFET campus and pay the course fees to confirm their allotted seats.

• Candidates have to qualify in the TANCET and obtain a decent score,

• IFET cutoffs will be released after the declaration of TANCET results,

• GATE score card holders will not be required to participate in TANCET,

• Candidates who have obtained the required cutoff percentile may proceed with the TANCET  counselling round,

• IFET College of Engineering is to be selected as the preferred college by the candidates during the choice fillings,

• Candidates will be allotted seats based on the choice fillings and scores of the TANCET,

The fees are very reasonable. As per Anna University only they are asking fees for counselling students. For the first graduate students, they will get a scholarship. Other than that the exam fees are feasible. Educational loans are available in our college. Then in our college offers merit scholarships for both state board and CBSE students based on 12th marks i.e total marks in physics, chemistry, maths. There exist many loans or scholarships for students under several criteria and several conditions offered by banks and government sectors
