1. Eligible Students can apply to IBA by filling the Online Application Form.
   
2. Students will receive an email having their User ID and Password on their registered primary email id for future reference.
   
3. Application Fee can be paid through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / Demand Draft. After payment of the application fee and submission of the application form, students will receive a PDF copy of the filled application form on their registered primary email id.
   
4. Students shall send a printed copy of the filled application form along with other documents, as mentioned in an email received by them after submitting Online Form.
   
5. Once the application is received by the Admission Department of IBA Bangalore, the student will receive a confirmation call and an email from the admissions department regarding the initial round of selection process i.e., submission of the SOP (Statement of Purpose).
   
6. The next step of the selection process will be intimated to a student after receipt of the SOP.
   
7. Students shall attend the Selection Process on the designated Date and Time along with the Original Copies of all their relevant documents.
   
8. The result shall be intimated to students within 3 to 4 working days from the day of the Selection Process. Selected students will receive an Admission Letter through email as well as by Post.
   
9. Students need to send a confirmation mail of accepting the offer of admission within the specified date as mentioned in the admission letter. After the last date, the seat will be offered to the next deserving candidate.
10. Selected students are required to pay the prescribed fee by the date specified in the admission letter.
    

IBA has excellent track record of placements since inception and more than 100 companies visit IBA every year offering domestic as well as international placements to IBA students.

IBA follows a multi-pronged strategy offering multiple avenues for placements of its students. At IBA placement is an activity, which commences from the very first day. On our part, an established placement office with a dedicated team of placement officers constantly promotes our students among premier organizations such as transnational companies, management consulting companies, software firms, banks, merchant bankers, and so on.
In this regard, our MDP and consulting division, through which we provide education and management consulting to companies; also helps us in building awareness about our PGDM course among our client organizations and corporate executives.
Regular guest lectures on specific functional topic areas by industry leaders whilst enhancing the learning process also offer an opportunity for interaction between students and key decision-makers in organizations leading to possible future placement.

Placement Process

Students get the intimation about placement opportunities from the institute’s I3 committee (Industry Institute Interface) via intranet or internet emails.
Interested students convey their choice either through mail or prescribed process within the specified time limit.
The students are communicated about the recruitment process dates once the Placement team gets a communication from the organization.
The entire Placement Process is mostly conducted on the campus, but in some cases, students visit the recruiter’s premises for the process. The recruitment process generally includes Pre-placement talk followed by processes like Aptitude test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, etc. depending on respective company policy and selection criteria. While students can appear for multiple interviews, they are bound to accept the first offer made to them. Recruited students can join their employers after their final examinations, which are concluded in March or April as per the Academic Calendar.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR MERITORIOUS STUDENTS (During Admission Phase)

‘Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Scholarship’: Student/s having aggregate (all subjects) marks of 60% or above in Class X, XII and Graduation, would be awarded a Scholarship of Rs.50,000/-
‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel Memorial Scholarship’: Student/s having aggregate (all subjects) marks of 70% or above in Class X, XII and Graduation, would be awarded a Scholarship of Rs.60,000/-
‘Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Memorial Scholarship’: Student/s having aggregate (all subjects) marks of 80% or above in Class X, XII and Graduation, would be awarded a Scholarship of Rs.70,000/-
‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Scholarship’: Student/s having aggregate (all subjects) marks of 60% or above in Class X, XII, Graduation and having percentile/Composite Score as mentioned below in the Entrance Tests would be awarded Scholarships as stated below:

With stable and high-speed connectivity to the Internet that ensures speedy access, the campus is completely connected with the WiFi network. A laptop is compulsorily provided to all the students.

IBA has a State-of-the-art facility for students where they can access, download, research, prepare notes, and presentation material through databases in the digital libraries subscribed by IBA. This is in line with the facilities provided by International Business Schools.
The IT facilities include Microsoft Campus agreement for all the Laptops carried by Faculty, staff and students.

Library

The library subscribes to over 60 International Journals such as Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, etc. and 110 National leading Management Journals. IBA Library has over 12500 books, 8000 titles, 700 A/v, 5000+ E-Journals, 23000+ E-Dissertation, over 80 International & National Magazines and 13 Newspapers. The Library has a large number of select reference books on management and other related areas. It also has a vast collection of Case studies selected from leading journals and research papers. Faculty and students can access the online journals – current as well as past – through the electronic database.

A separate Audio/Video media room with a DVD player is provided in the library for students to explore various aspects of management.
Students have the option of either utilizing the audio/visual material stocked in the library or bring in material from other sources. IBA has institutional memberships with premier libraries such as The British Council Library, NICMAN – Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, thereby allowing expanded access to resources.
