Padua College of Commerce and Management is an offshoot of Padua Pre-university College. It is youngest of the Catholic Board colleges, started in the year 2011. It is a unit of the Catholic Board of Education and managed by Bendoor Church whose president is Rt. Rev. Dr. Aloysius Poul Dsouza, the Bishop of Mangaluru, secretary is Rev. Fr. Jerald Dsouza and Rev. Fr. Antony Serrao is the Correspondent of Padua College.

Padua College of Commerce and Management, though in its initial stage has gained a good name among the colleges of the Mangaluru University. Presently it offers BBA and BCom courses. In addition to these, training for Banking exam, certificate courses in Computer, Theatre, Kathak and Barathanayam are also offered. Introduced BCA course from June 1st 2021. The college by giving importance to the curricular and extra- curricular activities, trains young men and women for the job market and to be the good citizens of the country.

In keeping with this vision statement, Padua College of Commerce and Management has the following mission:

To instill and sustain in the students a lasting desire to seek knowledge and to impart to them the basic human values and skills to acquire it .
To inculcate team spirit and leadership skills in the students to ensure success in their professions and to assume career responsibilities.
To instill in the students a deep sense of pride for the nation and its culture along with the progressive and global outlook.
To produce future citizens of moral integrity who uphold the values enshrined in the constitution, without prejudices to the religion.
To train men and women who go on expanding their consciousness.
To foster creative ability and critical thinking.
To develop a sense of concern towards the poor and the weak.

The whole admission process for all the courses offered is offline and merit-based. Any candidate who fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria can take part in the admission process. Admission to all the courses is based on the marks scored by the applicant in the concerned qualifying examination.
