The Sree Krishna College of Engineering was established in the year 2010. The Sree Krishna College of Engineering is run by Lord Krishna Trust founded by Dr A Aranganathan who is known for his experience in the field of Education.

It is a Private, Co-Education, Self Financed Institution located in the Unai Post, Anicut Taluk of Vellore and is approximately 130 Kms from Chennai International Airport and 14 Kms from Gudiyattam Railway Station.

SKCE has an ISO 9001:2008 certification and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. It is affiliated to the prestigious Anna University, Chennai.

SKCE offers Five B.E. Courses in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.

The total intake of the SKCE in all the mentioned disciplines per year is 360 students.

SKCE has good facilities for the students in terms of a well equipped and up to date Library, High Speed Internet, Health Care Facilities within the campus, Transportation facilities for Students, Faculty and Staff, Hostel Facilities for Students along with good sports and health care facilities.

Eligibility for admission is a pass in Higher Secondary with Maths, Physics and Chemistry or a pass in HSc Vocational Stream, Diploma in any of the courses or any other equivalent qualification as approved by the State Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of TN.

SKCE is steered by Dr S Srinivasa Rao Madane as the Principal and each Department has well experienced, academically outstanding and motivated faculty.

SKCE has a very impressive placement record of 91%. The highest package gained by an individual was Rs 51 Lacs pa while the overall average package of all placements was Rs 6.20 Lacs as per latest data available.
