Age limit
The age of interested candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old to become eligible for the UPTET exam.
Educational qualifications
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test will be held at two levels: the Primary level, which is for teachers of grades 1 to 5, and the Upper Primary level, which is for teachers of grades 6 to 8. Candidates who’ve completed a 2 year diploma education are eligible to apply for UPTET application process and give exam to get posted as UP government teacher. The applicant who have passed 4 year B.Ed degree and pursue the diploma currently are also eligible to apply for same. In addition, applicants for the higher number one level must have a two-year B.Ed. ( Degree in education) Or B.Sc. /B.Sc.Ed After passing class 12.
