IIPC plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every student at the university gets an opportunity to do an internship in reputed Companies and a job as well later before they graduate.

Through internship, IIPC aims to give an experiential learning opportunity that offers an invaluable chance for students to network and build professional connections before they even graduate. For some students, it is a stepping-stone to bonus opportunities within the same organization, including a full-time job.

Pre-Placement Talk: Companies interested in hiring students from UAS Dharwad must visit the campus and deliver a pre-placement talk about the working of the company and the job role offered by them.

Shortlisting of Candidates: Candidates interested in the position must submit their CV to the organisation. Additional rounds are held with the individuals who have been shortlisted based on their CV.

Application Test: The shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a test conducted by the organisation.

The highest and the lowest salary packages are never known as most of the students do not join in the placements offered by the college. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinator: Looks into engaging the best suited training service provider, approaching corporate houses for recruitment and maintaining a cordial relationship with the members of the pool placement team members. Also looks at corporate interfacing through continued interaction with corporates. Overseeing conduction of placement drives.

Staff members: Interface between students and Central placement committee towards disseminating of information, collection of student data and effective conduction of placement drives. Also smooth conduction of various training programs organized at the campus. Data maintaining regarding placement drives, results and other statistics.

Student members: The student members assist staff coordinators in passing relevant information to fellow students about the placement drives and act as volunteers in smooth conduction of a placement drive.

The placement cell provides a window of potential opportunities by helping the students to determine the tasks and to inculcate the greater sense of responsibility for identifying and managing their own career.
Mock Interviews are the ways to find the hidden talents of the students. The placement cell is conducting mock interviews every so often to help the students to reduce their anxiety about interviewing. This will help the students to boost their confidence. The students will perform a few dry runs before they actually appear for an interview
Internship: The Internship Offers would also be cascaded to the students and the best of the efforts would be taken in order to get the maximum internship offers to the Students. Best of the opportunities would be given to all the students and the outgrowth of the same could be reflected among our students where potential students grab offers to their credit. Our Students would receive plenty of opportunities and they would be continued until the candidate gets placed in a reputed organization.
