Every year the enrollment process for placements begins when students come to pre final year. Each department will have one faculty and two student coordinators to facilitate training and placement activities. The coordinators organize mock test and group discussion in their respective classes. External trainers are invited to train the students on solving the aptitude, prepare for group discussion, interview facing skills and technical skills. Experts from the varied industries are invited to give guest lecture on the latest technologies. Every year more than three hundred reputed companies are invited to visit our institution to recruit our students for internship and full time jobs.

Several companies send their assessment form to assess our institute before they visit for recruitment. We provide all the required information to the companies. Based on the information provided, companies visit our institution for campus recruitment. More than one hundred and sixty companies from different sectors visit BIT to recruit students for internship and full-time job. The TNTEU Chennai placement cell assists with campus placement so that students get various job opportunities. Students receive extensive training to improve their abilities and develop into competent individuals capable of working in the business sector. Recruiters at the placement division of TNTEU Chennai invite the students to a pre-placement discussion on a set date to inform them of the basic policies and work environment, give them an insight into the company, and answer their questions. Campus Recruitment Training (CRT)-2023
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell organised a one-week campus recruitment training (CRT) programme for all S7 students from July 31st to 4th August 2023.

The training included a two-day soft skill training, which was planned as a workshop with mock sessions and feedback on the below topics.

B. Group Discussion Preparation + Mocks
C. Interview Skills and Mocks + Feedback
D. Dressing and Grooming Essentials
A three-day Python programming training was scheduled with separate batches for CSE and Non-CSE students. The objective of the programme was to make every student able to crack the programming section in campus recruitment.


We believe that facilitating the recruitment process is as significant as opening the door to the students into the college. The college has a Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC) functioning actively. The CGPC is headed by a Professor who coordinates all the activities under CGPC. Training Cell, Placement Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell are functioning under CGPC. The CGPC activities are coordinated by an Executive Committee headed by the Principal and consisting of Placement coordinator, Staff members (representing each department) and student representatives (one student representing each branch). Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the Institute. The Institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the Cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The Cell invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. The Cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. The CGPC is committed to provide all possible support to its students in their efforts to find employment. The activity of CGPC starts with the preparation of the data bank of fifth semester students which will be updated thereafter. The detailed brochure of the institution prepared by CGPC is sent to reputed companies inviting them to the college for campus recruitment. The method of recruitment will be decided on receiving the suggestion from the respective companies, whether to host a combined recruitment drive or to organize the recruitment exclusively for MCET. Depending on the eligibility criteria listed out by the company, students are shortlisted from the MCET student data bank. The arrangements associated with the recruitment like venue arrangement, student registration, food, accommodation, transportation, conduct of tests, invigilation, valuation etc are done by the executive committee members assisted by student representatives and MCET staff. CGPC Auditorium (300 seat capacity), Hall (100 seat capacity) and Conference Hall are available.

Abhyuday-The Department of Counselling, Welfare, Training & Placement consists of a Department Head, a full-time Counsellor, an Office Superintendent, Placement Executive, Faculty coordinators, committed Staff and student volunteers who work towards student well-being. Campus recruitment first began in 1994 with Kirloskar Snydergenral as the first company to visit campus to recruit two students. Now the numbers have skyrocketed to 200+ companies visiting the campus and making 1200 +job offers to our students.

The Department conducts programs that help the students enhance their knowledge and equip themselves with industry-relevant skills and technology. Soft skills training is arranged to help the students ace the selection process and give them a superior edge in the competitive job markets. Non-placed students are assisted with placements for a year after their graduation through 'Off-Campus' initiatives and referrals.

Team Abhyuday does everything positively possible to help students get placed in their dream job by using and creating internal resources, and engaging students in volunteering activities throughout their campus stay. The Alumni generously & readily share their knowledge, skills and expertise, whenever sought. The team has been proactive in placing students through the years. Orientation programs for fresh entrants, training programs in leadership, public speaking, effective communication and mock interviews are conducted regularly, thereby preparing students for placements.

NMAMIT has collaborated with various reputed Japanese Organizations to provide career opportunities in international markets. These collaborations started with MoUs with the University of Miyazaki and Ritsumeikan University since 2013, with the exchange of students, faculty and internship, including higher studies in Japanese Universities. The activities include Sakura-Science programs.

University Placement Cell commonly known as CRMC (Corporate Resource Management Centre) describes the functions and activities that support the growing relationship of academia and industry. The Placement department at JaganNath University comprises of the students’ committee with 10 members from the last two years of the course and the Placement department represented by the Placement Managers, faculties and industry professionals.
