The Tumkur University placement cell serves as a link between the students and the recruiting organisations. For the benefit of students, the Tumkur University placement cell conducts campus interviews and a variety of other programmes. Tumkur University placement cell is dedicated to the professional development of the students by incorporating career issues into the academic environment in order to help them find the right potential career path.

Tumkur University placement cell assists students by providing counselling, instructions, and training for the development of desired skills necessary for a suitable job profile. The placement cell also invites corporate industries, research or academic institutes, commercial organisations to conduct campus placements. One of the key objectives of the Tumkur University placement cell is to motivate, train, and prepare the students for campus interviews. The primary goal of the placement cell is to place students in reputable companies, government organisations, non-governmental organisations and the private sector. All students who register with placement cell will receive placement assistance, career counselling, and self/social entrepreneurship. The Bachelor of Commerce degree attracts many vacancies from all over the world. Depending on the skills of the applicant, the Bachelor of Commerce salary may vary. Recruiting companies are willing to hire B.Com. graduates from reputable colleges/universities. Current economic trends also indicate that business graduates are preferred by companies over university and technical graduates. Business graduates have an advantage due to the current curriculum and exposure to a variety of courses.

Placements: 150 students were placed from our college. The highest salary offered was INR 1,50,000, the lowest salary offered was INR 60,0000 and the average salary offered was INR 80,000. To get in NEET PG, MD/MS degree or passing in any All India exams is the admission criteria.

Placements: About 85% of the students were placed from this course. The highest salary offered in this course is 1.5 lac per month, and the average salary offered is above Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary of Rs. 19,000 is offered in chemical labs. Above 78% of students got internships from this course in companies like fertilizer companies, chemistry laboratories, SIPCOT, etc. The teaching line, professors, teachers, scientists, lab assistants, etc., are the top roles offered in this course.

On campus, there is a full-fledged office for the Training and Placement department. The department features a private boardroom and five-panel rooms with all of the necessary equipment to conduct campus hiring programs.
