The placements, both for final positions, as well as industrial training are an integral component of any technical institute's annual calendar of events. Alpha College of Engineering has well planned and organized method of integrating our students' ambitions for careers to the industry's requirements. The principal goal that the Training and placement cell is to provide a unique platform for students, acting as a liaison between Industries as well as Academia.

Campus interviews are conducted by inviting companies to participate in the students' placement for employment. Placement Department at Alpha College of Engineering & Technologies Placement Department of the Alpha college of Engineering & Technologies is comprised of full-time training and placement officers along with faculty members, students and faculty representatives from over the past two years.

Our Placement Cell monitors the employment opportunities and arranges campus recruitment process interviews for the final year students and provides internship opportunities for pre-final year students. We start placement process for pre-final semester in the month of June. Students are prepared for all kind of interviews well in advance. Communication Skills Development for I Year Students (Four components – LSRW Skills) – 4 hours per week.
Life Skills Development for II Year Students (Motivation, Attitude Building, Goal Setting, Communication & Presentation Skills, Aptitude Skills - Shortcut Methods & Quantative Aptitude) - 4 hours per week.
Professional Skills Development for III Year Students (Team Building, Group Discussion, Resume Building, Interview Skills, Reasoning Aptitude - Analytical , Logical, Verbal & Non-Verbal) - 6 hours per week

About Career Guidance, Training and Placement:

The Training & Placement Department is the one which initiates and conducts various placement related activities like training, placement drives etc. It has a central placement team with staff representatives from every technical department overseeing its activities. The student coordinators nominated act as an interface between the student group and staff placement coordinators.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinator: Looks into engaging the best suited training service provider, approaching corporate houses for recruitment and maintaining a cordial relationship with the members of the pool placement team members. Also looks at corporate interfacing through continued interaction with corporates. Overseeing conduction of placement drives.

Staff members: Interface between students and Central placement committee towards disseminating of information, collection of student data and effective conduction of placement drives. Also smooth conduction of various training programs organized at the campus. Data maintaining regarding placement drives, results and other statistics.

Student members: The student members assist staff coordinators in passing relevant information to fellow students about the placement drives and act as volunteers in smooth conduction of a placement drive.

The A.V.C.Polytechnic College has a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell to look after its placement activities. The Training and Placement Cell provides the official support base for employment of the students with the following Objectives:

To provide at least a single job opening for each eligible student.
To identify at least two new companies per department every year.
To make five percent increase in overall placement every year.

The Training and Placement Cell works for the whole year interacting with Human Resource Departments of the various esteemed organizations so as to invite them to our college for recruiting the future of the company. The Institute has an in-built LCD-Projector-equipped Seminar Hall for holding Pre-Placement Talks, Written Test, Group Discussions. The Training & Placement Cell under the guidance for Training and Placement Officer achieved the milestone pertaining to 85% recruitments of Diploma Engg. Bharath University Placements

   Bharath University offers Placements to all candidates through their central placement cell. The institute provides 100% placement. The placement and training cell organizes pre-placement talks, written tests and interviews with the organizations.

A competent engineer must be the ideal synthesis of knowledge from his field and practical life skills. Life skills significantly refine the behaviour of professionals and engineers, preparing them for change in their professional work, job market strategies, and ultimately their approach to life. Training engineering students to push them into their career is most important task, an engineering college has to take. Our department assess every student and direct them towards their goal by giving required and following trainings. In addition to helping engineering students develop their technical skills, practical training also helps them develop their soft skills. Additionally, by teaching students how to work together, these training programmes help them develop their leadership skills. So, we adopt following training to our students.

CKPCET Surat Placements
CK Pithawala College of Engineering and Technology, Surat has a training and placement cell that manages the placement process and coordinates with organisations for campus placement drives, summer internships, project work and industrial visits. CKPCET Surat placement facility is available for students with the training and placement cell of the college. The training and placement cell is managed by a training and placement cell in charge with a team of faculty members that helps students with several training programmes and guidance for interviews, aptitude tests and group discussions. As per NIRF report 2024, the CKPCET Surat median salary offered was Rs 2,90,000 for the undergraduate course for the academic year 2022-23.

About Training & Placement Cell
The Placement and Training Cell was established during the year 2004. The very first batch of graduated students were placed from the campus in 2005-06. The PT Cell is fully sustained and provides complete placement solutions to the students of the institute and BMSIT&M has a good placement track record among the top ranked engineering colleges in Bengaluru.

There has been a steady increase in the number of recruiting organizations since its establishment and at present we have 300+ organizations where in BMSIT&M alumni are making a difference, both to the glory of the organization and institute, bringing an active change in the society.
