Regular correspondence is maintained with various industries. Personal visits by the Training and Placement Officer, to many companies also serves to build and maintain relations with the companies. The cell maintains a branch -wise list of industries and encourages students to approach the companies independently in case that particular company does not have a policy of Campus Recruitment.
The cell maintains a branch-wise record of all current appearing students in the Final Year through the collection of their resumes. Based on the requirements prescribed by the company, the eligible candidates are invited for appearing for the test / interviews that are conducted by the visiting companies. The T & P also maintains a list of past students and passes this list to companies who specifically come for pass-out students.
The T & P cell looks after all arrangements to be made for the purpose of conducting campus interviews including everything from, the Pre-Placement Talk, to the written tests, to the final interviews The Training and Placement Cell firmly believes in taking feedback from the companies that have visited since the feedback from the company serves as a yardstick regarding the performance of the students.

Requirements of a company are received by Training & Placement Cell (T & PC) for campus recruitment. The circular is sent to department heads and students about the recruitment. The department shortlists the candidates and send the same to the T & PC. The list of students will be forwarded to the recruiting company.

The T & PC will shortlist the students from the database matching the company requirements and sends the list to recruiting company or institution for further action.

Irrespective of whether the student is opting for Placements or Higher Studies, students will provide their options in the profile. If the student opts for Placements, she will be given access to apply for Campus Drives, Placement Trainings, Workshops and Seminars. If the student opts for Higher Studies, she will be helped with various workshops, seminars to embrace her knowledge for future purpose.
Registration for Placements All final year students will be displayed of an option in their Student circular for choosing either Placements or Higher Education. The option will be given in the beginning of the Academic Year for UG final year students. Hence, students are asked to come up with the decision consulting their parents before a registration begins. Students who have opted for Placements alone will be allowed to register for Campus Drives, of their preference and eligibility, via the Student Profile in the future.
Registering for Campus Drives As Companies approach for Campus Recruitment, students will be intimated via the Student mail. According to the Criteria set by the Company, eligible students alone will be allowed to register for the Campus Drive. Kindly note that the option to register for Specific Campus Drives will be allowed only for a shorter period. Date and time will be informed. Students can view all information regarding the company and the job profile in the Student mail itself. If required, circulars/job descriptions will be circulated for the same. Students will also be receiving online application forms or links via mail with specified deadlines. Students after registering will receive notification via mail and text message.
