The step-by-step process of conducting IIM Nagpur placements is listed below.

Interested companies are requested to share details regarding roles offered at least a week before the placement season's commencement.
Interested students then apply for positions and companies they are interested in.
Applications are shared with respective companies for shortlisting.
Pre-Placement Tasks (PPTs) are organised by companies prior to the selection process. This allows the company and students to interact and exchange information.

Each year, we invite our industry partners and other reputed organizations to the college campus to participate in the placement process for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. We connect to invited companies, discuss their requirements and mutually agree on a tentative date for doing the placement drive. We also connect to all students, collate the student data, get their registrations for placements and brief them the placement policy and rules before the placement season starts for all the final year students.

We follow the below placement process for smooth running of placement drives and the post selection steps of offer acceptance, pre-joining formalities and the candidate joining process:

We get the job requirements, position description, eligibility criteria, salary details and the company introduction note that we can share with students.
We publish the company details and their requirements to all students through a college internal portal.
Eligible and interested students apply for jobs by registering themselves on the portal.
We send eligible and interested students list to the company with all the student data like degree/department, date of birth, prior education marks, current CGPA, backlogs, etc.
Companies will review the students, shortlist if required and send the final list of students prior to the placement drive date.
Visiting companies will start with pre-placement talk on drive date and directly interact with the eligible students. During these sessions, they will provide overviews of the job profiles, job descriptions, compensation, company’s expectations and other specific requirements. Students will clarify any questions they have with company delegates.
Companies typically conduct Written Tests, Group Discussions/Case Studies and Personal Interviews as part of the placement process.
Most companies announce the selected students by end of day on the drive date. Further to this, Company’s HR team confirms selected students list by a mail.
As a post selection process, Companies send formal offer letters to the individual students with a copy to placement department.

Eligibility:
A Candidate shall have Masters Degree or any other Degree/Diploma of the University or any other Degree/ Diploma of any other University/ Institution recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) or an equivalent Grade. However, this condition is relaxed to 50% in case of :

SC/ST/Cat-I/Physically Challenged candidates.
In service candidates with a minimum of five years of regular experience associated with teaching profession as teachers/ library professionals/ physical education instructors/ laboratory staff in educational institutions.
The candidates should have passed the Entrance Examination conducted by the University of Mysore. A Candidates securing at least 55 marks out of 10 (50 marks out of 100 i.e. , 50% in case of SC/ST/PC candidates) in the Entrance Test shall be declared as eligible to apply for admission to Ph D.

Exemptions

The following candidates are exempted of from the entrance exam and they can apply for provisional registration by consulting a guide in the subject of their interest after verifying their eligibility.

Candidates who have qualified for UGC/CSIR/JRF Fellowships OR qualified for Lectureship through UGC/CSIR NET Examination/K-SET/GATE or Government/ Aided College Teachers under FIP.

The placement and carrier guidance cell (P& CGC) is responsible for carrying out placement related activities.
Irrespective of whether the student is opting for Placements or Higher Studies, students will provide their options in the profile.
If the student opts for Placements, she will be given access to apply for Campus Drives, Placement Trainings, Workshops and Seminars.
If the student opts for Higher Studies, she will be helped with various workshops, seminars to embrace her knowledge for future purpose.

Registration for Placements
All final year students will be displayed of an option in their Student circular for choosing either Placements or Higher Education.
The option will be given in the beginning of the Academic Year for UG final year students. Hence, students are asked to come up with the decision consulting their parents before a registration begins.
Students who have opted for Placements alone will be allowed to register for Campus Drives, of their preference and eligibility, via the Student Profile in the future.

As Companies approach for Campus Recruitment, students will be intimated via the Student mail. According to the Criteria set by the Company, eligible students alone will be allowed to register for the Campus Drive.
Kindly note that the option to register for Specific Campus Drives will be allowed only for a shorter period. Date and time will be informed.
Students can view all information regarding the company and the job profile in the Student mail itself. If required, circulars/job descriptions will be circulated for the same.
Students will also be receiving online application forms or links via mail with specified deadlines.

The Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University, being a medical university, there is no such provision called placement for its students. But there are certain facilities similar to the placement drive, they are as follows:

• The M.B.B.S. students, who have completed the CRBI & obtaining an RMP member with MCI & Tamil Nadu state Medical council can practice as GP.  The candidates will be informed of the vacancies as and when it occurs. • The P.G. students after completion of their course, and the Upgradation of their degree in both councils can run an independent civilization or hospital or can be a consultant. Successful Conclusion  of Day Zero & Commencement of Day One Process for the Batch of  2023

We, at National Law University Jodhpur,  are pleased to announce the placement of 60 students on Day Zero as well as 9 students during Day One for the Batch of  2023. The following table shows the  break-up of accepted job offers from the Class of 2023 up until now. The table  is divided into pre-placement offers  (PPOs), the offers accepted on Day Zero as well  as the offers accepted on Day  One. The Day Zero for the Class of 2023 was held from July 28, 2022 – July 30,  2022. A total of 86 offers  were received by the students, which resulted in 35 accepted  job offers from 15 participating law firms.

National Law University, Jodhpur has an elaborate internship program for both Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate students. The program is organised in the months of November-December and May-Jun of every year which extends from four to six weeks. The internship program has been made a part of the curriculum to achieve the object of imbibing practical knowledge on applicability of law and �learning law in action�. Internship Program for Undergraduate (UG) Students -

·         Fourth Year Students shall be exposed to work exposure at Corporate Law Firms, Companies and other specialized law firms.

·         The Fifth Year Students shall be allowed to choose an institution (law firms, company, corporate law firms, etc.) according to their expertise that they have acquired during the last five years and sent accordingly.

Internship Program for Postgraduate Students -

Students pursuing Postgraduate Degree Program in different disciplines are required to undergo a three-month internship every academic year with Union or State Government undertakings, Private or Public Sector Undertakings, Advocates, or Solicitors. National Law University, Jodhpur has built-up good relationship with several law firms, companies, industry, advocates and judges, in the country, through performance of our students during the course of their internship. The remarkable performance of NLU Students has added a number of such organisations to the existing list of recruiters almost every year.

The Internship and Placement Cell

The Internship and Placement Cell (I & P Cell) of the University is a student-oriented body guided by the Advisory committee to Internship and Placement Cell dedicated to ensuring maximum exposure and opportunities for the students of MNLU, Mumbai. The role of the placement cell in every university is pivotal as it not only connects with the industry but it also communicates with the university to discover and work for the interests of the students. The Cell acts as a facilitator between the recruiters and the students and actively engages in various activities to channel maximum potential of the students and to enable them to extract the maximum experience to mould their careers. The primary task of the Cell is to make all efforts to match the career aspirations of the students with the requirements of top-level industries and organisations and to act as the core representative of student-welfare in these organisations. The Cell constantly keeps track of all avenues in the legal arena and helps the students discover divergent aspects to help broaden their scope and arena and to absorb them to esteemed organisations. The Cell is focused on all round development of the students and works towards nurturing and preparing the students for their future careers and bring success and repute to the institution.
