In the context of quality and excellence, T & P department is a value addition of our institution. With a view to enhance the "Employability skills" of students, T & P has evolved a comprehensive program, tailored to cater to the individual needs and potential of each student for the full length of the course. Ultimately this Department helps preparing even first generation students of rural background to meet the requirements of the Industries. Besides our In-house trainers, T & P Department with the help of corporate trainers trains our students right from first year to final year.

Inviting industry professionals to give orientation to the students on "Interview Mannerisms".

About Placements
Every student comes with an aspiration for a flying career. The training and placement division work to support the student’s aspirations with an aim to guide them to start building a career and not just an employment.

Career Planning is a complex process and when multiple opportunities are in front of the final year students, it’s become difficult for them to identify the best suited opportunity. The Training & Placement Division understand this and conducts various programmes and support services to meet the needs of students towards their professional development. The division works with the students and for the students in their career planning process.

The placement division acts as a bridge among the students, academic departments and industries. We start with conducting career guidance and counseling sessions with industry experts so that students could understand and define their career aspirations. This would help us to understand their career needs and to connect them for the required training & up-skilling sessions.

Today, there is no scarcity for knowledge-centers but choosing the right place to up-skill is the key to succeed and we ensure that we connects the students with best resource centers in the market. We train the students from their II year onwards with Soft Skill & English Communications in the 3rd and 4th semester respectively. In the III year, students are trained in Aptitude skills. These skill sets are compulsory for students who aspire to qualify for campus placements, competitive exams and much more. Our in-house faculty will handle these training programmes with diligent.

We connect the students with multiple resources for them to perceive, possess, prepare, practice, perform and prosper.

Many say knowledge is power, but it is equally true that applied knowledge is the real power. We encourage students to take up internships, industry certifications, to take-up career assessments, to participate in hackathons, tech. contests and other skill development activities. Students also have access to learn foreign languages as open electives. These add-ons would increase their knowledge and skill-set; which would fetch the best opportunities for them to start their career.

Placements: In our college, almost 20-30% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc., visit our campus.

A strong partnership with industry will be a firm foundation for a successful career. CIT has strong links with many firms and organizations in private and public sectors. During the four years of course period, all students undergo rigorous in- plant training and internships in their department oriented industries.    KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore or KPRIET Coimbatore placements related activities are managed and controlled by the Career Development Centre which is a fully established training and placement cell of the KPRIET college. It provides career guidance and placement assistance to the graduating students by offering them skill development programmes prior to KPRIET placements drives such as communication skills, personality development, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and more. According to the data provided by KPRIET Coimbatore, approximately 455 students were placed and Rs 54,00,000 lakhs per annum was the KPRIET highest salary package offered during the KPRIET placements drives 2023.

Placement:

The Training & Placement Cell at Jaya Engineering College plays a pivotal role in identifying and securing job opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students by maintaining strong relationships with renowned companies and industry leaders.

The cell operates under the guidance of a dedicated Training and Placement Officer and works year-round to facilitate connections between companies and graduates. The number of students successfully placed through campus recruitment continues to grow each year, with several reputed industries visiting the college to conduct interviews upon invitation.

The Placement Cell organizes various career guidance programs to assist students in their career development. These programs include aptitude training, interview preparation, group discussions, and soft skill training.

Additionally, the cell invites HR managers from leading industries to conduct specialized training sessions, providing valuable insights and enhancing students' readiness for the job market.

   60% of students have been placed. In 2022, the highest package was INR 8.5 LPA, the average package was INR 4 LPA, and the lowest package was INR 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Zoho, Wipro, TCS, CTS, Renault, Nisson, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top roles offered are manager, head, and HR.

PERI JOB FAIR

    2020 The PERI Job Fair 2020 was conducted 29th FEBRUARY 2020. More than 17,222 Registered Candidates from all over India convened at the PERI campus to meet companies from diverse fields. 17,222 candidates competed for 2,473 jobs openings and over 2000 students were offered a job on the spot with many more shortlisted for another round of interview. The fair was open to all 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 graduates. The candidates were from varied disciplines including engineering, management, arts, science and life sciences and diploma. Entry as always was free for all candidates. The fair was inaugurated at 10.00 AM by our Chief Guest Mr. B.Santhanam, Chairman and Managing Director - SAINT -GOBAIN INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. PERI Education’s Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periasamy, PERI Education’s COO Mr. Sasikumar, PERI IT’s Principal, Dr. R. Palson Kennedy, PERI AS’s Principal, Dr. A. Gunasekaran and representatives of the attending companies, media and PERI’s staff and students.

PLACEMENT CELL
Giving proper guidance to the students in shaping their future is one of the fundamental duties of a college as they are almost near the termination stage of their regular education. Students feel secure when they have the knowledge that there is someone who will guide them to land in right career path after their graduation or post-graduation. There is a dedicated placement cell functioning in the college that helps, guides, and advises students about the opportunities that are available to them. The placement cell of the college is manned by well experienced professionals with proven credentials. Apart from providing information about the available opportunities, also helps them in preparing for the interviews and plays a vital role in their overall personality development.

Apart from teaching, preparing a student to embrace the industrial world is the need of the hour. Training the students and equipping them to suit the present day industry needs is one of the foremost duty of Rathinam Educational Institutions. A separate department for this was started in 2006 with a goal of providing world-class training and placing the students in renowned companies. The Placement cell is headed by the Principal and all the activities are co-ordinated by the Vice Principal. Placement officers, HR managers, HR consultants and the Heads of the Departments are the members of it to ensure every student will have a better future.
