• • The placement and training cell functions under the supervision of a full-time placement officer and operates all around the year to arrange campus interviews by the companies. It plays a very crucial role in counselling and guiding the students for their successful placement

• • Apart from the regular curriculum, we aim to fill the gaps between the industry’s expectations and the individual’s caliber by devising Value Added Programs, Placement Workshops, Soft Skills Training, Personality Development Programs, etc.

• • This cell also strives hard to serve the student community by maintaining industry-institute relationships so as to identify the industry needs and expectations and to train the students accordingly. In connection to this, we have MoU signed with Infosys, Red hat, etc. Infosys enriches us with a campus connect training program for our students every year.

• • One-to-one career exploration and Career development counseling is available to all the students. It acts dynamically and flexibly to improve the knowledge and skills of the students in order to make them suitable for the placement.

Placements are usually in 7th semester. As usual,

TCS is the Mass recruiter. It recruits around 90% of the batch. You also have Dell R&D, Evive healthcare etc. But they take only few students(Around 4-5). If you are not placed, you need to give some 1 Lakhs(Approximate) and join Q-spider

There is no internship provided. you may need to search it outside your college. Attend hackathons and other competitions. Only final placement is provided. if you have talent, consult the companies within shimoga to get local internships

  Karunya has a creditable record of placement of its final year students and graduates. A good number of final year students plan to go for higher studies in India or abroad or turn entrepreneurs. About Placement Department

The Placement department is an integral part of GMIT connecting students of the various departments. The department has the best infrastructure for the smooth conduction of training and placement activities. The department works in close co-ordination with the Industry Relations Executives and the Department Placement Coordinators which comprises of both students and faculty members nominated from individual departments. The department has been instrumental in providing necessary skill set to all UG and PG students to develop their employability skills, leadership qualities and personality development. The major objective of campus placement is to identify the talented and qualified professionals before they complete their education.  Easwari Engineering College Chennai has a placement cell that conducts the campus placement.
