The placement and career guidance cell also invites law firms for campus placement. Industry - Institution - community interactions have contributed a great deal to the Institution. The interactions provided an opportunity to the students to associate with senior Counsel’s office for internship. Some of the students are absorbed as Junior to leading senior advocates. Only 5% of students were placed in my in my batch. This is government college, so there is no the highest or the lowest package in my course. There is no companies recruitment in law courses. Government advocate have to finish master degree in law and must experienced lawyer .

Registration

Any Organization intending to participate in the Recruitment Drive can communicate their willingness by email or telephonically to the Placement Committee. The Recruiters may conduct Pre-placement talks to interact and ventilate students about crucial principal features of their organization, job profile, terms and conditions of employment, remuneration and other relevant information. The recruiters are advised to indicate their preferred date for such talks to the Placement Committee a week prior to their arrival.

Pre-interview Screening Process

Pre-interview Screening Process may be conducted any time before the final interviews. Recruiters are

free to determine their own policy for the process of shortlisting students. In case the recruiter has no policy of Pre-screening, the Curricula Vitae of all interested students shall be forwarded to the Recruiter and the list shall become Final Interview List.

Disclosure of Offers

A copy of offer letters shall also be sent to Placement Committee by the recruiter for the records. Acceptance/Rejection of offer shall be communicated by the concerned student to the recruiter. Copy of such communication shall also be marked to Placement Committee.

PRIST University Placements

The department of training and placement of PRIST University facilitates the overall placements of the students. PRIST University placement’s cell ensures its students have the necessary communication skills, critical problem solving skills, team work skills, entrepreneurship skills and leadership schools. The placements cell hosts a range of guest lectures and training programmes from industry professionals to educate students. For the advantage of the students, the PRIST University placements cell also organises a range of practise sessions on logical thinking, numerical ability, writing skills, and a variety of mock interviews.

Gondwana University offers excellent placement assistance to its students. Through its placement process, around 70% of the students got placed. Successful Conclusion  of Day Zero & Commencement of Day One Process for the Batch of  2023

We, at National Law University Jodhpur,  are pleased to announce the placement of 60 students on Day Zero as well as 9 students during Day One for the Batch of  2023. The following table shows the  break-up of accepted job offers from the Class of 2023 up until now. The table  is divided into pre-placement offers  (PPOs), the offers accepted on Day Zero as well  as the offers accepted on Day  One. The Day Zero for the Class of 2023 was held from July 28, 2022 – July 30,  2022. A total of 86 offers  were received by the students, which resulted in 35 accepted  job offers from 15 participating law firms.

National Law University, Jodhpur has an elaborate internship program for both Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate students. The program is organised in the months of November-December and May-Jun of every year which extends from four to six weeks. The internship program has been made a part of the curriculum to achieve the object of imbibing practical knowledge on applicability of law and �learning law in action�. The program is initiated right from the first year.

Internship Program for Undergraduate (UG) Students -

·         The First Year UG students are placed with Social Action Groups, i.e. both Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations.

TISS Mumbai has The Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC) which conducts placement activities for the students on the campus. They invite different companies of various sectors to their campus to participate in the TISS Mumbai placement drive. The placement process of the company is conducted in online or offline mode depending on the preference of the recruiters. The career guidance and placement cell of the institute also provides internships to the students so that they get practical learning and get exposure to the corporate world. With a view to ease the transition from education to employment, the Training and Placement cell apart from conducting the annual placement hosts skill development programmes and encourages the students to intern with various organizations. Another Pre-placement discussion was held with official representative and territory head Mr. Patil from Manupatra. A session on Career Opportunities in Law firms and Corporate was held by a former law associate, Clutch Group. Training Sessions were conducted by IDP Ltd. for law students on ILETS for placements abroad was organized. Further, a training –cum-workshop on ‘Law Degree & Beyond was organized in association with Legall India. A Campus to Corporate’ a training program was held by a team from Infinique. Various HR groups visited the campus inorder to provide soft skill training sessions to the students.

The cell also focuses on encouraging the students for winter and summer break internships, Over 580 students have interned from reputed law firms, Law associates/chambers, Judicial academy, Law ministry, CBI, Bio-Diversity Board, Patent and trade mark offices, NGOs, Corporate offices, Compliance depts., Revenue, police departments and research units. The training and placement cell hopes to provide the best platform for the existing potential at SDM Law with its consistent efforts.

Approximately 80 percent of strength is in computer Science.
