The JSS Noida placements 2022 placed around 63% of its students in top companies. The training and placement cell at the institute assists the students in improving their skills and knowledge to enhance their chances of getting hired by recruiting companies.
The Department of Training and Placement handles campus placements for UG and PG graduating students. The JSS Noida highest package 2022 was INR 57.32 LPA, and the institute has various signed MOUs with organizations like Microsoft Innovation Lab, The IoT Academy Uniconverge Technologies Private Limited, DBP Engineers Works Pvt. Ltd, etc. to provide internships to students.

The Department presently coordinates with many leading organizations which recruits Engineers/Technocrafts and GET/ PGET's for entry level positions in their respective organizations. In the year of inception, the department modestly established contact with about 47 organizations and placed 172 number of students. With every passing year, the number of recruiting organizations have increased in geometric progression on an average of about 250 nationally renowned organizations visiting the campus annually to conduct their recruitment process in our campus. For the 2016 batch, 1892 offers have been made by 378 companies/organizations.

We connect to invited companies, discuss their requirements and mutually agree on a tentative date for doing the placement drive. We also connect to all students, collate the student data, get their registrations for placements and brief them the placement policy and rules before the placement season starts for all the final year students.
We follow the below placement process for smooth running of placement drives and the post selection steps of offer acceptance, pre-joining formalities and the candidate joining process:
We get the job requirements, position description, eligibility criteria, salary details and the company introduction note that we can share with students. We publish the company details and their requirements to all students through a college internal portal. Eligible and interested students apply for jobs by registering themselves on the portal. We send eligible and interested students list to the company with all the student data like degree/department, date of birth, prior education marks, current CGPA, backlogs, etc. Companies will review the students, shortlist if required and send the final list of students prior to the placement drive date. Visiting companies will start with pre-placement talk on drive date and directly interact with the eligible students. During these sessions, they will provide overviews of the job profiles, job descriptions, compensation, company’s expectations and other specific requirements. Students will clarify any questions they have with company delegates. Companies typically conduct Written Tests, Group Discussions/Case Studies and Personal Interviews as part of the placement process. Most companies announce the selected students by end of day on the drive date. Further to this, Company’s HR team confirms selected students list by a mail. As a post selection process, Companies send formal offer letters to the individual students with a copy to placement department. We connect to students and follow through the acceptance process and any other post offer activities like document submissions, briefing sessions, trainings, internships, etc. We are connected to students and the companies till all the students completes post offer formalities and joins the organization.

The pre-placement training is embedded in the curriculum from the academic year 2016-17 as follows Communication Skill - I and II semester Soft Skills - III and IV Semester Aptitude - V and VI Semester
Professional trainers are hired to handle the above courses. Earlier the Pre-Placement training was conducted for a duration of 3 to 6 days during the semester/vacation from the III semester onwards. By introducing pre-placement training as a course in the curriculum, the delivery of the course is steady, the learning is effective and the performance is measurable. Mock interviews and GDs are conducted from the IV semester to VI semester in the pre-placement training course to face the challenges of recruitment scenario. Enhancement of technical skills such as Programming, Networking, Computer aided design and development etc are made through workshops. The cell motivates the students to get exposed to best industry practices through Industrial training and Internship during their vacations. Technical and domain related sessions are conducted as Value Added Programs in related domain areas of Engineering to empower the student with the essential skill needed in industry.
