MGR University Placement

The Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University, being a medical university, there is no such provision called placement for its students. But there are certain facilities similar to the placement drive, they are as follows:

• The M.B.B.S. students, who have completed the CRBI & obtaining an RMP member with MCI & Tamil Nadu state Medical council can practice as GP.  The candidates will be informed of the vacancies as and when it occurs. Furthermore, the candidates can approach the authorities to know more about the requirement of the GP.
• The P.G. students after completion of their course, and the Upgradation of their degree in both councils can run an independent civilization or hospital or can be a consultant. They can also apply for the assistant professor’s role. The like vacancies are informed to the CDCC so that the junior doctors can be directed with the same
• The candidates with a B.Sc degree and  P. G. Diploma  degree after skilled training  are absorbed in the institution, according to the requirement of the institution itself
• Other Post Doctoral courses are offered to students who are already practicing.
• These working candidates of this university can update their profile & find better placement opportunities.

The highest salary offered was Rs. 100000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 40000 per month. About 90% of students were placed in our course.

The Placement Cell of the Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose Arts and Science College-NSCBASC supports students in making the right career choices and enables employers in taking the right hiring decisions during recruitment.

n our college, placements are good and faculty members are supportive. Placements: Almost 70-80% of students are placed from the recent batch of 2022. The highest salary package offered is 43 LPA by Amazon.
For PG (2-year) and PG (3-year) students, the median package offered during 2022 placements was INR 12.5 LPA and INR 19.8 LPA, respectively. JSS Medical College Placements 2022: A decline of almost 8% was recorded in the 2022 PG (2-year) median package when compared with 2021.

Viswabharathi Medical College - VMC aims to provide placement assistance for all eligible students. Placement is a privilege extended to the students but can’t be claimed as a matter of right.

    In the year 2023 Students of Sathyabama
Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai got direct campus placements in

The idea of MKU Placement Cell has been initiated by our Honorable Vice- Chancellor on understanding the need for permanent placement to all the students of MKU campus and its affiliated colleges. The reason being that most of the students hailed from rural sector not having required knowledge and inputs related to career planning. Also the university being an apex body for all its ninety three affiliated colleges has a moral responsibility to offer required academic curriculum, teaching - learning practices, training and finally permanent placement for all the needy students to create sound society.
Incidentally, University Grants Commission (UGC) recentlyvide its letter F.No. 12-1/2013 (NSQF), dated: 19th December 2014, made it mandatory for all the Universities to establish a separate Placement Cell for strengthening the industry academia linkage and the counselling to the student community using the services of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The UGC strongly believes that this process of counseling and skill development would guide the students regarding pathways available for progression and facilitate their placements. Therefore, the UGC had constituted a steering committee on skill development under the chairmanship of Humble HRM on 17th September, 2014 and resolved that all the Universities should start a separate placement cell for fulfilling its objectives stated above.

Eligibility and Selection criteria

Students from Life Science Graduates / Post Graduates (Final year) or those Graduates / Post Graduates completed their degrees.  First level of interview will be Aptitude Test at Madurai Kamaraj University, Palkalainagar Campus.

 Evaluated and shortlisted candidates have to attend one to one interview.

 Selected candidates will be given offer letters immediately and placement would be made in one of the three places stated above based on mutual convenience and interest.  

The list of the not selected candidates would be maintained in the data bank of i Source company and would be used when more manpower is required by the company.

The placement cell is a strong committee of skilled professionals, other faculties, students, and alumni members who are working in the industry. They help in conducting regular sessions on developing Communication, soft skills, group discussions, and mock interviews in order to groom our students and improve their chances of getting selected across the companies overboard.

The placement package ranges from INR 3Lakhs to 7 Lakhs. About 30 companies participate in the placement drive every year. Some of the top recruiters are L&T, TCS, media.net, Oracle, Capgemini, etc.

Placements: Nearly 70% of students were placed in our college. Around Rs. 46000 per month is the highest salary and Rs. 12000 per month is the lowest salary offered.

Placement: Entering into the last semester the students become eligible for the campus placements. Every year college Will assign more companies for the campus placements. corporates will hire the students for jobs with the suitable skills of the students. I went to more than 10 companies interviews. The companies offered 300000 to 40000 as per the companies' profile. The students must clear all the semesters without any due arrears with 50% of marks placed in the interview. some companies offer jobs if students have arrears.

GITAM Visakhapatnam placements 2022 has been concluded with more than 1520 offers. GITAM Visakhapatnam highest package stood at INR 46.50 LPA, which was offered by Amazon India.

GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research has not released the official placement report. However, some of the students have disclosed the details on the Shiksha review page. As per the data, 60% of students were placed in recent years' drives. The GIMSR highest package and lowest package stood at INR 5.6 LPA and INR 2.4 LPA, respectively. Additionally, 100% of the students received internships at GIMSR Hospital. Some of the popular job roles offered during GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research placements were Anasthesian, Drug Advisor, Duty Doctor, etc.
