Placement brochures for 2018 at college shows the fact that 490 UG students out of 830 were offered campus job with a median salary of in the region of INR 450,000 LPA as well for PG students, the median salary was around 5,10,000 LPA .The college's hiring process has included notable companies such as Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, Capgemini, Dell, Google, IBM, Infosys, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Wipro and many other well-known names.

Bapatla Engineering College has a good placement record. Its Mechanical Engineering department, and Computer Science and Engineering department leads in this field. The former has a placement rate of 87%, while the latter sees around 75% of its students placed. The highest package that has been offered is around 800,000 INR per year. About Training And Placement Cell
The ultimate aim of the institute is not only just creating the engineers, but to eventually producing and delivering working professionals to the industry by imparting employable skill to the students. In order to achieve this objective, the institute imparts soft, managerial and technical skills to students. A placement team consisting of seven qualified professionals has been set up and is functioning under the guidance and direction of the top management and Director/Principal in the process of placement. Dr DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune has dedicated training and placement for guiding and training the students to get placed in top companies. Dr DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune placement cell provides training such as technical skills, personality development, group discussion, resume writing, mock interviews, aptitude training conducted by internal senior faculty and industry experts. DY Patil Pimpri placement cell also organises career counselling sessions and Industrial visits are conducted to provide students with a practical perspective on the industry.

DY Patil  Placement Procedure

• Candidates interested in participating in the placement process must submit an application to the placement department at DY Patil Pimpri, along with an updated resume.

• The DY Patil Pimpri training and placement cell sends out invitations to various companies for recruitment.

• Companies interested in recruiting from DY Patil Pimpri respond to the invitation, providing details such as job description, eligibility criteria, and proposed recruitment dates.

• The placement cell then notifies students about the upcoming DY Patil Pimpri campus placements, including details like date, time, and venue.

• On the prescribed dates, the companies visit the campus to conduct the recruitment process. This process can be conducted either online or offline, depending on the organisation's preference.

• The DY Patil Pimpri recruitment process typically includes a pre-placement talk, an aptitude test, and technical and HR interviews.

• Candidates who are selected after all rounds receive an offer letter detailing their joining date and salary information.

What is the process of placements at GCU?
Industry Institute Partnership Cell
Garden City University-Industry Institute Partnership Cell (GCU-IIPC) is based on the Integrated and Inclusive Model, where both the industry and academia exchange knowledge, skills, expertise, infrastructure, and resources to create an ecosystem that benefits the industry & institute (the students).

IIPC plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every student at the university gets an opportunity to do an internship in reputed Companies and a job as well later before they graduate.

Through internship, IIPC aims to give an experiential learning opportunity that offers an invaluable chance for students to network and build professional connections before they even graduate. For some students, it is a stepping-stone to bonus opportunities within the same organization, including a full-time job.

The students are trained and prepared for their internships and placements from the very first semester, setting them up for success in the professional sphere.
The IIPC follows a systematic approach to facilitate progressive engagement with industries over the course of six semesters assessing them and training them to make them Industry ready and get their dream job even before they graduate.

Students would be grouped and given a small project for the demonstration of skills which would be assessed both internally and externally by the recruiters for offering the right kind of a job based on their skill.
6 VI 100 days Internship for the VI Semester UG & IV Semester PG students
By following this comprehensive calendar, the IIPC ensures that students are well-prepared and equipped to enter the professional world through the career counselling, trainings, workshops & internships. This progressive engagement with industries allows students to explore various career options, gain practical experience, and develop essential skills, ultimately increasing their employability and career prospects.

The placement cell is masterminded to reveal the potential of the students. It is not only about the learning of new things but it’s also about fine-tuning the pleasing personalities into professional personalities. Our training is engrossed on the ideal enhancement of technical & soft skills. To traverse the space between candidate skills & industrial necessity by developing proficient resources facilitated in both campus recruitment training with professional etiquette to thrive in their career. Interviews are intended to scrutinize the skills & learning pace of the student. So, we forge the students as capable pupils & professional interviewees with systematic training in multiple domains

College of Engineering, Guindy Placements

  College of Engineering, Guindy provides placement opportunities to registered students. The College of Engineering, Guindy placement is managed by the Centre for University and Industrial Collaboration, which provides the infrastructure for group discussions, tests, and interviews, as well as other logistics. The College of Engineering, Guindy placement cell provides advice and organises training programmes for students to improve their communication and soft skills. College of Engineering, Guindy placement cell assists various departments in arranging guest speakers from industry professionals. The placement cell at the College of Engineering, Guindy also organises classes on aptitude tests, logical thinking, domain knowledge, and coding/programming for the benefit of students. 

College of Engineering, Guindy Placement Process    

   Registration of Candidates: Interested candidates need to register themselves with the College of Engineering, Guindy placement cell for participation in the placement drive.

   Pre-Placement Talk: The companies interested in recruiting students from the College of Engineering, Guindy visit the    campus and talk to interested students about the company’s work culture, the job role offered by them and their vacancies.

   Shortlisting of Candidates: Candidates interested in the job role are required to share their CV with the company and apply for the job. Further rounds are conducted with the selected candidates, who are shortlisted based on their CV.

  Application Test: The shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a test conducted by the company which tests the candidates on a variety of parameters. 

  Group Discussions: The shortlisted candidates are required to appear for group discussions where they need to talk for or against a given topic.

  Personal Interview: Candidates are interviewed by the recruiting team of the company and candidates need to pitch themselves for the job.

   Job Offer letter: The candidates who have qualified all the above-mentioned rounds are offered a joining letter from the company. Candidates are required to join the company on the date mentioned in the offer letter.

7LPA was the highest, 1.5LPA was the lowest and 3.5 was the average package offered. Infosys was the top recruiting company.
