The Training and Placement Department helps students develop their Intrapersonal skills and abilities so as to enhance their personality as well as help them get placed in reputed organization. Sapthagiri college of Engineering, Bangalore is one of the very few colleges where the concept of Training and development has been given importance in par with Academics. The Department is sincerely working to empower students with various qualities and skills to achieve professional and personal excellence. The Students are well informed about the need for maintaining good academic scores and are tracked regularly on the same.
The training and placement section provides a launch pad for students to make it to the best organization in the fields of software, core industries, managements etc. The biggest names in the corporate world visit the campus on a regular basis, with enviable recruitment offers. Our students have lived up to the expectations of the organizations that visit the campus, looking for bright candidates to take up important and challenging responsibilities at their workplace. Over the years, the section has maintained good and strong relationship with the industries across the countries and as a result has built up an impressive placement record both in terms of percentage of registered students placed as well as number of companies visiting the campus.
FACILITIES: The training and placement cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of the placement process in the campus. The Pre-placement talk rooms, Group discussion rooms are equipped with LCD projectors PCs and AV facilities. It also has sufficient number of interview rooms, many books are also available in the main library to help students prepare for interviews.
TRAINING: Training is an important tool for the placements as these will help the students to know and get prepared to enter the corporate world. In the view of this at Sapthagiri College of Engineering, we have special training programs for students starting from Semester 1 which will go parallel with the academics till the 100% placements. The program is called “CAREER CONNECT PLACEMENT ORIENTED TRAINING PROGRAM”.
Students are given coaching by one of the best training institute in the industry. Our students are trained in the areas like Business English, personality development, Grooming, Resume writing, Communication skills, Group discussions, Technical and Personal interview skills which are required for getting suitable jobs and also in the area of aptitude according to different company requirements.

The Need of the hour is to work with multi-cultural themes with a global mindset, have a “Can-Do” attitude, be flexible, demonstrate high levels of business etiquette and commitment, workshop quality, continually learn new things and reinvent one-self without compromising on ethics and value systems.
