JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research ( JSS AHER ) with its training and placement cell have facilitated sighting of fresh and promising human resources for the life sciences industry. Around 75 per cent of the students opt for enrollment into the training and placement and are suitably employed in leading pharma, Ayurveda, biotech companies, Hospitals across the country.

The key advantage for the life sciences industry is that JSS AHER Constituent colleges are ISO certified institutions and are part of the NAAC accredited JSS AHER. The office of the training and placement is to impart the hands on training and provide opportunities to the students of Pharmacy, Management, Life Science, Medical, Dental and Biomedical Sciences.

The office of the Training and Placement is headed by Deputy Director – Academic since 2014. Yes my college provides a stipend which is 2000 per month it was only given for one year of our service after completing graduation we have to attend pg neet for the post-graduation college offers teachings for the entrance exam but really it does not provide any job opportunity

There are no placements as such in MBBS. After 4 years of MBBS, you will be an intern in the same hospital with a salary of INR 30,000 per month. You will be posted in every department during the internship, which will be very hectic because it is a government hospital and the patient loads will be immense.

The Department of Training & Placement assists each student in exploring placement prospects by inviting various companies for campus recruitment drive for students who are in the final year of the programme and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year.

The students are prepared for their final placement through an incessant and structured interface with the industry through vigorous internships, guest talks and industrial visits, industry ready course curriculum and Pre-placement training sessions (PPTs). Hence, final placement is a culmination of all these processes.

Department of Training & Placement enables the students to bridge the gap between the Academia and Corporate world. Feedback from industry is collected and the feedback used to design Pre-Placement Training Programs. This important activity is vital to enable the students to achieve desired career objectives. To enhance the capability of the student to get placed during campus placement drive and also while attending interviews on their own, DSA conducts pre placements sessions on soft skills for the benefit of students. Sessions on personal grooming, resume writing, mock interview etc. are imparted to the students. Some soft skills sessions are also inbuilt in the academic calendar.

Placements: Placements are too good at least 75% get placed and rest are the people who go for family hospital and higher studies. The highest package is about 15 Lacs and the lowest is average. At least 90% people get internship since they have their own hospitals and they offer based on the interest of roles.

Around 190 students were placed out of 200 students. In MBBS, there were no packages, but in internships doctor can earn around Rs 18,200 per month. After completion of MBBS, medical officer can earn around Rs 80,000 per month.

It is necessary to complete at least a year of internship after studying the course for 4.5 years. Some big hospitals and nursing homes offer the students of our college the chance to intern at their organization with a fixed monthly stipend.

The highest is 150000, and the average is 75000, the lowest is 65000.

This college provides 100% placements, as there is a bond with Gujarat government that makes them already placed while taking admission in the medical college. They offer pretty good packages. There are no companies coming to the campus for placements as it is done by the government.
