On an average, 75 to 80% of eligible students are placed in last 3 years with CTC between 1.2 to 5lakhs per annum. Placement Training Activities

Competitive Programming Skills is an add-on course extended to the students in their second, third and final year as part of their regular academic curriculum. This course focusses on imparting coding skills which is an important criterion that IT companies look out for. Students are also groomed on their soft skills right from the beginning. Career Development Centre provides career advancement / personality development courses. At ARMIST we provide wide range of opportunities to participate in many technical contests and other skill building activities throughout the course of study for students to build their technical and soft skills.

Every year, just before the commencement of placement season, an extensive in-house training program is extended. The objective is to refresh all the core concepts and technologies which the student has learnt over the three years and get them ready for the hiring process. In house staff from respective departments and Career Development Centre are engaged in providing refresher classes on core subjects, aptitude test practices, GD sessions and mock interviews.

IIT Bombay Placement Process

·         The placement office sends invitations to the companies to attend the IIT Bombay placement drive.

·         Interested recruiters will create an account on the website of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. 

·         Recruiters can then create the jobs or internships containing the job details which will be verified by the executive officers.

·         After verifications, the job offers are made available for the students and interested students can apply for these jobs.

·         Companies shortlist the students based on their resumes.

·         Thereafter, companies conduct the screening process and shortlist the students for the interview process.

A Training and Placement Cell (TPC) functions in the college under the super vision of a faculty member to provide career guidance and placement opportunities. Training has been given to students for attending various examinations conducted by recruitment agencies and for campus recruitment. TPC prepares the students to face competitive examination and interviews through intensive training programs encompassing aptitude tests, group discussions, mock interviews and basics of behavioral psychology and body language. MEA Engineering College has got a strong and full-fledged Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) with a full time Placement Officer. Regular placement oriented training programmes imparted from semester one onwards. All students registered with CGPU will be provided placement assistance, counseling for employment and self/Social entrepreneurship. The CGPU assures logistic support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making campus infrastructure available to them. The CGPU will act as an interface between the industry and the students, and will primarily enable the students to select from their career options. We shall facilitate the selection process of all the companies as per their requirement. The CGPU will liaison with corporate organizations to provide suitable jobs and internship for the candidates completing their studies from the campus. The CGPU also conducts seminars and workshops to enable the students of KMEA to become successful professionals. The goal of CGPU is to provide employment opportunities and world class training to students in leading organizations. The CGPU is well equipped with ample infrastructure in terms of Testing halls, Consultancy Hall for pre placement talk, Presentations etc. All the reputed organization including MNCs comes to the college for campus recruitment. CGPU firmly believes in ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’. In order to accomplish ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’ it organized technical talks and national seminars to provide a platform for the budding engineers to interact with professionals from various industries. It encourages visits to the industries by the college students. It arranges for industrial problems to be worked on by students as part of their projects. It also takes suggestion from members of industry regarding designing/changing of curriculum.

The CGPU functioning in the College is entrusted with the responsibility of:

The CGPU of the college is headed by a Placement Officer. The Cell has student representatives from all classes. The Student Coordinators interacts with the Placement Officer for the daily functioning of the Cell. The Cell has modern infrastructure facilities for receiving various companies in the campus and also for imparting training to the students. It has an air conditioned interview rooms to add to the other facilities available in the college such as conference room and a seminar hall with a capacity of 300. The College has an auditorium which can house 1500 persons at a time. Many companies have visited the campus during the academic years to select students of the college.

Placements: Around 40% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA.

JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has a training and placement cell that helps in increasing placements by improving the employability of students and imparting necessary skills in students that are important to meet the expectations of the industry. The Career Development Centre (CDC) of REVA University primarily liaisons between Industry and the University.
