UAS Dharwad placement cell looks after the overall placements of the students. Right from the fourth semester onwards, regular training is conducted on total personality development and personal grooming of the students. Minimum 35 to 40 top companies visit to the college every year between 90% to 100% students are placed. NSB Academy, Bengaluru Placements
The NSB Academy Bangalore Placement drive has concluded with a 99.6% placement rate. The domestic NSB Academy Highest Package was INR 18.60 LPA, while the highest international package stood at INR 43.50 LPA. For a batch size of 300, more than 200 companies participated in the NSB Academy Bengaluru Placement 2022, with NSB Academy average package standing at INR 7 LPA. Information Technology turned out to be the sector with most hirings done, followed by other sectors including Finance, Logistic and others.

The NSB Academy Bengaluru Summer Placement saw similar trends where the highest stipend offered was INR 2 LPA. Prominent names from the industries that participated in the summer placement session 22' include Berger, JOCKEY, PwC, IndiaMart and more.

TRAINING AND PLACEMENT

The MGR College Placement Cell aims at making available quality placement opportunities for the students by maintaining linkages with Human Resource Departments in Industry and Research Institutions. The alumni of the institute also play a dynamic role in this venture. The placement cell is headed by two Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) and has a faculty representative from each department under the MGR College umbrella. These representatives are the conveners of student and faculty level training.

The placement cell is responsible for maintaining contact with industries specific to their specialization and for arranging placement visits to the campus. Apart from faculty representation the students from each class represent as placement coordinators. Regular meetings of TPOs with student coordinators are held at every fortnight for dissemination of information regarding placement.

Numerous training programmes were conducted for a period of 6 months by 50+ trainers with an objective of exposing the students to know the importance of career counseling and placement. The prime focus of the training was to update the students with the skills that are required to cater the needs in career development. In the training programme special emphasis was given in the areas related to aptitude, soft skills, stress management, group discussion and over all personality development. Activity based training and mock interviews were also conducted to help the students to fetch knowledge with respect to the demands and expectation of the industries related to placement.
