The Cell is equipped with high end computer systems, Hi-Tech cabins for personal interviews, Group discussion and Seminar hall for Pre placement presentations. It also has repository of course and study materials with WIFI facility provided for students.

How Placements Cell Operates in SVCE

   The Placement cell is one of the important department in SVCE. Knowing that you will be guided after your graduation so that you land a job helps you feel secure. This is the reason why we have a dedicated placement cell that helps, guides, and advises students about the future.

   In SVCE, students come from all walks of lives. They come from different parts of the country including rural areas. Some individuals may not be aware of how things work. BGSIT Mandya has a dedicated Training and Placement cell that serves as a bridge between the students and the industry. Gondwana University Placements :

Gondwana University offers excellent placement assistance to its students. Through its placement process, around 70% of the students got placed. The placement cell assists students to secure jobs even before completing the course. Top companies visit the university for recruitment. The recruiting companies include Infosys, Mahindra, IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The highest salary package offered during the placement is INR 10 LPA and the average package of INR 4 LPA. Internships are also provided to the students. They can do internships in companies like ACC cement, ICICI, Axis, etc. They can receive internships in sectors such as sales, marketing, etc. During the internship period, they will get a stipend amount which is between 25,000 and 10,000 per month.

The placement and training cell serves as a bridge between science and industry. The training and placement cell has a frequent personal contact with the students, in addition to the normal activities of internships, which helps to better understand and recognize their problems and seeks to resolve and strengthen their confidence in all aspects. The activities included in the internship curriculum includes group discussions, personality development, interview tips, written aptitude tests, IQ and brain questioning, psychometrics, false interviews, both technically and personally, etc.

Placement details:

Placement department organizes technical workshops, seminars, personality development programs and other training programs. A gradual training methodology is used to develop their skills, reasoning skills, aptitude, communication skills, technical skills, leadership skills, interpersonal skills and training to the crack the interview with confidence. A fundamental session on skills and personality development, along with their academic curriculum is conducted from 3rd Semester. Placement process at CIT

• The Campus recruitment for the final year students starts from the month of August every year.
• A calendar for the recruitment drives is released well before the commencement of the first drive.
• Based on the calendar or schedule the drive dates along with eligibility criteria, Job Description, location, CTC and other details will be released through a circular.
• Eligible & Interested students will register for the drive through online registration portal.
• Registered students will be called for an orientation meeting to identify their readiness.
• Based on the need boot camps would be arranged to train the students before the drive.
• Finally, the recruitment drive will be initiated as per the company norms.
• The results will be published after the completion of the drive.
