The aim of this cell is to bridge the gap between industry (manpower requirements) and students (job seekers) by providing a platform to meet out their requirements.
(A) PLACEMENT Pre- Placement Training Registration process for the campus placement starts before Two months of the event. All the Students of Shekhawati Group of Institutions are eligible to participate in every placement fair until they are placed. In this duration of 02 months students are offered Pre-training with the help of experts & senior faculty members. Effective resume writing, Pre- test, GD, Mock Session Interviews are carried out to make students familiar with the procedure of upcoming event.
Placement Event Procedure- Step- I: WELCOME OF DELEGATES & CONVERSATION Delegates of different companies were warmly welcomed by SGI. HRs of different companies were presented flower bouquets at the entrance of the campus and escorted to the chairman’s office. Representatives of all the companies had a short conversation with the Chairman of the Group prior to the commencement of the placement procedure. Detailed information’s regarding the process, venue, registered students as well as their criteria were provided and discussed at length. Step- II: DELEGATES INTERACTION WITH STUDENTS Delegates of different companies will interact with the students in seminar hall and describe about company’s strengths, Objectives, Mission, Vision and about the job profile in detail and answer queries raised by the students. Step- III: WRITTEN TEST, GROUP DISCUSSION & TECHNICAL ROUND Students were rigorously tested on a variety of parameters ranging from soft skills, technical abilities, team playing capabilities etc. The written tests (both technical & non-technical) and Group Discussions covered technical as well as contemporary topics. Step- IV: HR INTERVIEW SESSION The selected students from the GD round were later on permitted to sit in the PI (Personal Interview) round. The representatives of the respective companies took the interview of each candidate separately & discussed company specific Terms & Conditions with them covering all the aspects of their job profile. Step-V: PLACED STUDENTS OFFERED JOINING / OFFER LETTERS/LOI Those students, who succeeded in clearing the cut-offs (company specific), were given Joining / offer letters/LOI for their brilliant outcome of hard work and technical knowledge.
(B) SUMMER INTERNSHIP Summer training & Internship is an important part of any technical curriculum. Summer Training/Internship offers Students an Opportunity to work in a professional way which helps them to enhance their technical skills. This exposure will help them to deliver their best, when they become ready to join the industry as working professionals. Students from Junior classes are also offered opportunity to manage the event and grab summer internship opportunities.

This cell is maintaining a computerized database of veterinary graduates and post-graduates. With the help of this database, the cell sponsors list of students to the recruiting agencies for possible employment.
PLACEMENT NABARD: Ashish Kulshrestha, a graduate of the College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Bikaner, has been selected as Assistant Manager (RDBS) in National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development, an apex bank of the rural sector in India. JRF/SRF by ICAR: Four graduate students of the College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Bikaner, namely Ajeet Mahla, Vinod Kumawat, Om Prakash Soni and Pramod Dangi have been selected for JRF by ICAR in the year 2011-12. Mr S.M. Yaseen, a student of the Department of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology was selected for SRF. Veterinary Corps: Aman Rustagi and Dr Achin Arora (Batch 2007) of the College of Veterinary & Animal Science, Bikaner, have been shortlisted for grant of commission as officer in Remount & Veterinary Corps – Indian Army. Macro Dairy Venture Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana: The officers of Punjab Macro Dairy Venture Private Limited, Ludhiana, a leading dairy in the country have come here to recruit veterinarians on 22-23 June 2011. In the recruitment process, HR managers of Macro Dairy followed the selection process by direct written test, group discussion and personal interview for the selection of ten veterinarians. BASIX Krishi Samrudhi Ltd, Ludhiana: A Campus Interview was conducted by BASIX Krishi Samrudhi Ltd., Ludhiana on 26-27 September 2011 at RAJUVAS, Bikaner Campus, Through this campus interview, eight students were selected for Livestock Attendants and two students were selected for Veterinary Officers position and posted in Punjab State. Dudhmansagar Dairy, Gujarat Dudhmansagar Dairy selected seven students of RAJUVAS through campus interview on 28-29 August 2012. In the recruitment process, HR & Administrative Managers of this dairy conducted the selection process through a written test followed by group discussion and a personal interview. SRIJAN (NGO): Three students were selected through Placement Cell of the University in SRIJAN (Self Reliant Initiatives through Joint Action), an NGO in February 2013. Paayas Milk Producer Company Ltd.: Eight students of RAJUVAS, Bikaner were selected through Placement Cell of the University on the post of Veterinary Executive in the Paayas Milk Producer Company Ltd., Jaipur in December 2013. These veterinary executives were placed at Milk chilling centres across eight districts (Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk, Sikar, Pali, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Dausa) of Rajasthan on the package of Rs. three lacs per annum.
